A major STEM event is taking place at Fulwood Barracks Preston between 04-07 October 22 – Book NOW!

Army Headquarters North West is co-ordinating a week-long event with a three-day delivery programme of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) aimed at Years 7-11 and a one-day delivery programme aimed at 16+ learners. The event is part of the wider military support to the UK government scheme encouraging young people into STEM subjects through engagement.

The STEM North event will support shaping the futures of young people between the ages of 11 -18+ by exploiting the Military capabilities to highlight links between STEM subjects being taught at school and related industries. This will hopefully inspire participants to continue with STEM subjects and support future STEM career choices.
