EngineeringUK have developed the new Neon website on behalf of the engineering community. It hosts a wide range of STEM engagement experience and competitions from across the UK. The aim is to make life easier for teachers and other youth organisations by curating the best experiences so they can be confident they are high quality with clear learning outcomes, they are engaging and inclusive, they support careers education and highlight the real-world application of engineering.

Events – Fairs, festivals and exhibitions
Trips – Inspiring visits for students to immerse themselves in

Neon is totally free to use by teachers, careers leaders, students, schools and any youth group as well as by employers and contributors that want to upload and promote their activities widely or within a specific region.
The choice of content available gives schools access to a wide range of digital and real-world experiences and resources to use now or help teachers plan their use over the academic year. All experiences featured on Neon meet the EngineeringUK quality standards, align with at least two of the Gatsby Bench Marks and the Skills Builder Framework to articulate the expected learning outcomes.
