Project SEARCH has applications open now for 16-24 year olds with learning disabilities and autism who have an education, health and care (EHC) plan. The programme helps young people to prepare for employment through a mix of education and work experience placements and is a collaboration between Lancashire County Council, Preston’s College and the charity Hft.

To apply for Project SEARCH you must:

• be aged 16-24
• have an EHC plan
• have reached the end of your education
• be able to develop the skills needed by a business
• be able to travel independently to Preston City Centre
• want to work and be successful
