On Friday 22nd November 2024, Lancashire Careers Hub in collaboration with Talking Futures, held an in person Parent and Carer Engagement Training Day.

The day was facilitated by Enterprise Coordinator, Tina Milner, and on behalf of Lancashire Careers Hub, we would like to thank everyone who attended.

Module 1 – Planning for Parent/Carer Engagement

Module 1 is aimed at Careers Leaders who are new to the role or looking to understand more about how they can engage parents in careers provision.

Module 2 — Developing and Embedding a Whole-Institution Strategic Approach

Module 2 builds on the above learning by exploring how creating an institution-wide approach to careers through strategic planning can have a deeper impact on students and their parents.
