This event has had huge success in the past and they are delighted to invite you to take part – Monday 10th July until Friday 14th July.

This week’s placement is to plan, cost, and design part of a new road in England.

Over the week you will meet a variety of people who work in construction and engineering, learning about their jobs and their route into construction. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds and their paths into their current job have not always been what you might expect.

You will also meet recruitment experts to give you hints and tips on CVs and interviews.

With the help from their presentations, using your own skills and those of your team members, you will work to create a presentation which shows why our judges should pick your company and its designs to build part of the new road.

There are two options for you to be involved in this week and below will detail more information:
● Virtual Delivery: Here you will take part in Highways and Construction Work Experience week through a system called Zoom.
● In person Delivery: In the event that there is a site near to you that has availability you will be able to visit a site for the week.
