HE Unboxed is built around a simple concept – develop sessions that showcase how subject knowledge and key transferable skills are both key to future success. By working in collaboration with our academic colleagues, careers department and employers, we have created a suite of free resources to support teachers to deliver an aspiration raising programme of activity.

There are four areas available, click on the links below to explore each one in more detail.

SUBJECT IN A BOX – Subject in a Box is designed to enable teachers of Year 10 students to provide their class with a unique insight into degree-level study whilst providing an engaging, interactive lesson, suitable for their current level of learning.

SUCCESS IN A BOX – The introduction of the Gatsby Benchmarks has placed a greater emphasis on the provision of comprehensive careers guidance in UK schools. In recognition of this, the School and College Liaison team has developed Success in a Box.

SKILLS IN A BOX – Skills in a Box helps students to develop a greater understanding of the key transferable skills that they will develop through school and university level learning and crucially how these will support them within their future careers.

HE UNBOXED GLOBAL – HE Unboxed Global is the strand of HE Unboxed that enables participants to explore an array of free virtual resources for teaching staff to download and run in their own classrooms as part of an agreed curriculum.
