PA consulting’s annual Raspberry Pi Competition is a celebration of STEM education, giving school children the support and opportunity to develop products that positively impact people’s lives.
Using their design and coding skills and a Raspberry Pi microcomputer, the school teams put their ingenuity to the test to come up with inspiring solutions to global challenges
The PA Raspberry Pi competition is an annual competition for students in primary school, secondary school and sixth form/college that challenges them to use their ingenuity to invent something using a Raspberry Pi microcomputer.
The competition encourages creative thinking, teamwork, coding and engineering skills. Students work in teams to respond to the competition brief, submitting a final invention by 23 March 2026.
To celebrate the achievements of the students, an awards event takes place in May for all shortlisted teams. The event is a real celebration of ingenuity, with each team exhibiting their creations to a selection of top business leaders from across the UK.
The event concludes with an awards ceremony, where judges announce winners and schools are awarded £1,000 as well as a trophy and medals.
