STEM Ambassadors are volunteers from a broad range of jobs and backgrounds who are passionate about inspiring young people to pursue science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) studies and careers. With a community of over 30,000 volunteers, they are an important, free of charge resource for individuals and groups working with young people across the UK. As well as getting involved in a number of activities both in and outside of the classroom, including site visits, STEM Club activities and speed networking, they help to bring real-life industry experience into context.

STEMFirst runs the STEM Ambassador Hub for Lancashire and Cumbria – one of 19 hubs across the UK. We can help you with a whole range of STEM engagement, from teacher CPD to employer visits and of course STEM Ambassadors coming into your establishment.
